Playing with Fire!
Lampworking or Flameworking is the art of manipulating hot glass with a torch. The glass is melted inches away from the artist's face in a torch that can reach 4,500 degrees F. Because the glass is heated form a cold state there is no need for a crucible and larger kilns, so the studio can be small and built at home.
My name is Kenny Talamas and I make my sole living by creating and selling glass art. I was shown the 'way of the flame' by Robert Mickelson in 1998 and over the years I have worked with other glass artists and visited many shops to develop my own personal perspective. I have moved from Florida to Oregon and built many Glass Studios (Star Ships) at Home along the way.
We also are proud to work with and offer the Glass creations of Eli and Tim Mazet as well as a few other artist who are on our team.
We ship directly to customers and collectors from all over the World. You can also find our work in a few galleries across the United States
