Wild for Oregon is gebaseerd op de eenvoudige overtuiging dat geluk niet gepaard gaat met een hashtag. Wanneer "inspiratie putten uit de natuur" betekent dat je je bureaubladachtergrond verandert in de Grand Canyon, moet er iets gebeuren.

We hebben technologie en sociale media zo ver in ons leven toegelaten dat het ze is gaan definiëren. Hoe vaak heb je door feeds gescrolld waarin je je leven vergelijkt met de zorgvuldig samengestelde momenten van een wildvreemde? Of de tijd uit het oog verloren gedachteloos surfen op het web? We snappen het, technologie is belangrijk - het is hoe we verbonden en vooruitstrevend blijven. Maar hoe ontsnap je aan de dagelijkse tijdsdruk zonder volledig off-the-grid te gaan? Voor de meesten van ons is cold turkey stoppen onpraktisch. Er moet een evenwicht zijn.
WE VONDEN HET ANTWOORD IN DE NATUUR.
Ons verhaal begon in 2009 met de aankoop van een stuk handgemaakte zeep op een boerenmarkt in Oregon. We werden verliefd op het idee om producten te maken die zijn ontworpen met dezelfde prachtige eenvoud als de natuur die hen inspireert. Elk product is vernoemd naar een deel van het natuurlijke landschap van Oregon en draagt de ruige, kleurrijke geest van de Pacific Northwest. Elke partij zeep, lotion, lippenbalsem en kaarsen is gemaakt met natuurlijke kleurstoffen, tincturen, additieven en / of geuren.
Buiten zijn voor elke lengte van tijd is gelukzaligheid. Geen klokkenspel van statusupdates of onbeantwoorde e-mails. Door uit je eigen hoofd te komen, vind je het geluk dat alleen puur-in-het-moment mindfulness kan brengen. Het zijn bedwelmende dingen, en we zijn er vrij zeker van dat je meteen een bekeerling zult zijn.

Wild for Oregon zet zich in om ons beste leven te leiden en degenen die we aanraken te inspireren om hetzelfde te doen. De natuur geeft ons zoveel en we doen ons best om de gunst terug te geven. Overal waar we komen, halen we onderweg al het (door de mens gemaakte) zwerfvuil op. We doneren ook aan verschillende organisaties voor het behoud van wildernis in Oregon. We krijgen een gevoel van vreugde in een ononderbroken, onbezaaid ecosysteem.

Wild for Oregon was founded on the simple belief that happiness doesn't come with a hashtag. When "drawing inspiration from nature" means changing your desktop background to the Grand Canyon, something's gotta give.

We have let technology and social media so far into our lives that it's come to define them. WE FOUND THE ANSWER IN NATURE.
Our story started in 2009 with the purchase of a bar of handmade soap at an Oregon farmer's market. We fell in love with the idea of creating products designed with the same beautiful simplicity as the nature that inspires them. Every product is named after a part of Oregon's natural landscape and carries the rugged, colorful spirit of the Pacific Northwest. Each batch of soap, lotion, lip balm, and candles is crafted with natural colorants, tinctures, additives and/or scents.
Being outdoors for any length of time is bliss. No chimes from status updates or unanswered emails. By getting out of your own head, you find the happiness only pure-in-the-moment mindfulness can bring. It's heady stuff, and we're pretty sure you'll be an instant convert.
