Made this for a friend and she loved it! Easy to follow instructions even for beginners.

I made a small change just to give it character. LOL, but the pattern is easy to follow. I can see more of these in my future.

I actually combined the cactus from this pattern with the pot from another pattern. The pot with this pattern was not quite as detailed as I would've liked. Also, rather than sewing the fingers down, I put wire in them and can now change the finger positions! I bundled the wires and wrapped them with tape so they wouldn't poke through the pot. The pattern was well-written and easy to follow. Looking at the seller's store, I admit I am probably too old to be one of target audience customers. That being said, I would implore the seller to change the name of the pattern that prints to something like, "Flying the Bird" Cactus or "Fingers Cactus" on the first page. As a four letter word appeared on the title page, I was grateful the youngsters did not pull the pattern from the printer for me.
