I entered the world of jewelry "by accident"
Hola, soy Yuval, el corazón y las manos detrás de Yuvall Jewelry.
Curiosamente, no crecí soñando con hacer joyas. Siempre me imaginé como diseñadora de interiores: me encantaba todo lo creativo, desde dibujar hasta esculpir. Pero cuando finalmente empecé a estudiarlo, me di cuenta, en el fondo... de que simplemente no era yo.
Esa constatación fue dolorosa. Siempre había enfrentado dificultades de aprendizaje, y abandonar un sueño se sentía como un fracaso.
Pero entonces, en medio de esa confusión, mi pareja regresó de un viaje a Italia con unas pulseras y me dijo: "¿Por qué no intentas hacer joyas? Tienes buen ojo, creatividad; como mucho, te sorprenderás".
Me reí y dije: "¿Joyas? ¿Yo? Ni siquiera puedo sostener un alicate".
Pero algo dentro de mí me decía que lo intentara. Entramos en una tienda de manualidades y me enganché.
Lo que empezó con herramientas sencillas y una mesa torcida de IKEA se convirtió en un viaje apasionante. Tomé cursos de orfebrería, aprendí técnicas como engarzar piedras y esculpir en cera, y seguí adelante, pieza por pieza.
Hoy, trabajo en mi propio estudio, donde diseño joyas atemporales y emotivas con un pequeño equipo de orfebres, y con la misma chispa que tuve el primer día.
¿Mi recordatorio favorito? A veces, las mejores cosas suceden cuando eres lo suficientemente valiente para intentarlo.

Hi, I’m Yuval — the heart and hands behind Yuvall Jewelry.
Funny enough, I didn’t grow up dreaming of making jewelry. I always imagined myself as an interior designer — I loved everything creative, from sketching to sculpting. But when I finally started studying it, I realized deep down… it just wasn’t me.
That realization was painful. I had always faced learning challenges, and letting go of a dream felt like failure.
But then, in the middle of that confusion, my partner came back from a trip to Italy with a few bracelets and said, “Why don’t you try making jewelry? You have the eye, the creativity — at most, you’ll surprise yourself.”
I laughed and said, “Jewelry? Me? I can’t even hold pliers.”
But something in me said try. We walked into a craft store — and I was hooked.
What started with simple tools and a crooked IKEA table became a journey of passion. I took goldsmithing courses, learned techniques like stone setting and wax sculpting, and kept going — one piece at a time.
Today, I work from my own studio, where I design timeless, heartfelt jewelry with a small team of goldsmiths — and the same spark I had on day one.
My favorite reminder? Sometimes the best things happen when you're brave enough to try.
