Hola, soy Alejandra, madre soltera de un grupo de pequeños increíbles, y cada compra en mi tienda apoya a nuestra familia de la vida real con bicicletas y todo tipo de camiones volcadores y "excavadoras" en el barro de nuestro patio trasero.

Cuando no estoy persiguiendo mis pequeñas pepitas de oro, estoy ocupada creando arte que viene directamente de mi corazón.
Soy artista y pintor, ya sea sobre madera, materiales reciclados o un proyecto mural a gran escala.
A mis hijos les encanta ayudarme a empaquetar los pedidos, así que perdóneme si su sello está torcido o si hay un poco de crayón en su sobre. Un niño pequeño muy orgulloso estaba muy emocionado de contribuir.

Me inspiro en las obras de Georgia O'Keeffe y aprecio profundamente la estética dramática del claroscuro y la luz oscura, así como el estilo rico y detallado de las naturalezas muertas holandesas y flamencas.
Todo el arte que ves en mi tienda Etsy está hecho a mano por mí. Cada línea y pincelada está hecha con mis propias manos, y si bien algunos diseños (como mis pins) comienzan como dibujos a lápiz y luego se digitalizan, la obra de arte original siempre está hecha sin computadora.

Estoy en un viaje para crear arte más sustentable y que genere menos desperdicios, por lo que, si ya llevas un tiempo en el negocio, es posible que notes menos bolsas, tazas y camisetas. Todavía estoy buscando mi camino, con el objetivo de avanzar hacia un arte que genere más desperdicios y sea más amable con nuestro planeta.

"A" es por Alejandra (¡Esa soy yo!). "Addison" era mi amada labrador negra que falleció de cáncer antes de que yo tuviera a mis hijos. Ella era mi fiel "perro de taller" en el estudio, amada por todos mis estudiantes de arte. Addison me enseñó la belleza de la simplicidad: el amor, los besos y el sol.

When I'm not chasing after my little nuggets, I'm busy creating art that comes straight from my heart.
I am an artist and painter- whether it's on wood, upcycled materials or a large-scale mural project.
My boys love to help me package orders, So please forgive if your stamp is crooked or there is a bit o crayon on your envelope. A very proud toddler was very excited to contribute.

I draw inspiration from the works of Georgia O'Keeffe, and I have a deep appreciation for dramatic chiaroscuro dark-light aesthetic and the rich, detailed style of Dutch and Flemish still lifes.
All the art you see in my Etsy shop is handcrafted by me. Each line and brush stroke is made with my own hands, and while some designs (like my pins) start as pencil drawings and are then digitized, the original artwork is always computer-free.

I'm on a journey to create more sustainable, less wasteful art, so you might notice fewer bags, mugs, and t-shirts if you've been around a while. I'm still finding my way, with a goal to shift toward more zero-waste art that is kinder to our planet.

"A." is for Alejandra (That's me!). "Addison" was my beloved black lab who passed away from cancer before I had my children. She was my loyal "shop dog" in the studio, loved by all my art students. Addison taught me the beauty of simplicity: love, kisses, and sunshine.
