We are sisters Kristen and Lindsey Archer of ARCHd. We are super passionate about women’s rights and bringing awareness to social issues through our handmade gifts with a voice. All designs in our shop are our original work and all wood and marble good are handmade (by us) in our home studio in Memphis, TN. We started with our first art festival in 2014, quit our day jobs and became full-time creatives in 2019, and have been hustling ever since! Outside of our handmade goods, we also over creative services in graphic design, photography, videography and video editing.
When you purchase from ARCHd, you're getting a truly unique piece of art. Our work is crafted by hand via an image transfer process in our home workshop in Memphis, TN. Our original art is transferred facedown onto the surface of wood or marble (from paper) via a gel medium, which absorbs most of the ink. The piece is later scrubbed by hand to remove all paper residue, leaving behind the majority of the image. The specs of underlying white showing through the final image is part of our work's aesthetic. This imperfect look is intentional, with variations on the amount and location of distressing.
We are very vocal in our political views, both in person and on social media. We believe in reproductive freedom and cannot wait to cast our vote for Kamala Harris for President of the United States.
