WHO WE ARE
House of 38 is an online digital products store. For anything about your personal data, message us through Etsy.

WHAT WE COLLECT
When you buy from House of 38, Etsy shares some of your details with us so we can complete your order:
• your name and Etsy username
• your email address (if Etsy provides it)
• your order details: what you bought, when, and the price
• your billing country (for tax purposes)
• any messages you send us
We sell digital downloads only, so we don't need or keep a shipping address. We never see your card or payment details: Etsy processes all payments.

WHY WE USE IT
• To deliver your order and help if a file won't download or open (to perform our contract with you)
• To answer your questions and give support (our legitimate interest in helping our customers)
• To keep records for tax and accounting (to meet our legal obligations)
• To protect our designs if a file is shared or resold without permission (our legitimate interest in protecting our work)
We don't send marketing emails unless you've separately opted in. We don't sell, rent or trade your information.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
• Etsy, which runs the marketplace and payments. See Etsy's Privacy Policy for how Etsy uses your data.
• Professional advisers, such as an accountant, only where needed for tax or legal reasons.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep order records for up to [7] years for tax and accounting, then delete them. We keep messages only as long as needed to help you, or longer if we need them to resolve a dispute.
