Stregheria è un'attività di ricamo gestita da un solo uomo con sede nel deserto del Mojave. Sono una nativa queer di Brooklyn che ricama in modo piuttosto ossessivo da circa 10 anni. Le mie fonti di ispirazione sono solitamente alleati vegetali, il mio anziano levriero, altre persone queer e mia nonna italiana che era un'esperta ricamatrice.
Il ricamo a mano è il mio medium preferito perché richiede poche attrezzature e competenze speciali e molta pazienza e cura. Tendo a lavorare su piccola scala, poiché la maggior parte dei miei progetti richiede molte ore o giorni per essere completata. Cerco di mantenere i prezzi bassi per rendere questo lavoro accessibile a più persone.

Stregheria is a one man embroidery operation based in the Mojave Desert. I'm a queer Brooklyn native who has been embroidering kinda obsessively for about 10 years. My inspos tend to be plant allies, my elderly greyhound, other queer people, and my Italian grandma who was an expert embroiderer herself.
Hand embroidery is my favorite medium because it requires little in the way of special equipment and skills and a lot in the way of patience and care. I tend to work on a small scale, as most of my projects take many hours or days to complete. I try to keep prices low to make this work accessible to more people.
