Cuando fundamos TerraKlay, nuestra visión era llevar objetos artesanales con significado a los hogares. Cada pieza que ofrecemos cuenta la historia de las manos de un artesano, su comunidad y el patrimonio que preservan. Durante años, compartimos estas colecciones a través de nuestra página web, donde clientes amantes del diseño descubrieron la belleza de la cristalería reciclada, la madera tallada a mano y los textiles teñidos de forma natural. Pero siempre supimos que nuestra misión se enmarcaba en un espacio donde las historias de artesanía y sostenibilidad pudieran llegar a un público aún más amplio.
Etsy parecía el siguiente paso natural. Es un lugar donde la gente viene no solo a comprar, sino también a conectar con creadores, a encontrar algo original y duradero, y a apoyar valores que importan. Al unirnos a esta comunidad, podemos mostrar el arte de nuestros socios de Guatemala, India, Perú y otros lugares a quienes ya buscan artículos con significado. Nos permite compartir no solo los productos, sino también su propósito, ya sea apoyando una cooperativa de sopladores de vidrio o ayudando a preservar las tradiciones indígenas de la talla.

When we first began TerraKlay, our vision was to bring meaningful, handcrafted objects into people’s homes. Each piece we carry tells the story of an artisan’s hands, their community, and the heritage they are preserving. For years, we shared these collections through our own website, where design-conscious customers discovered the beauty of recycled glassware, hand-carved wood, and naturally dyed textiles. But we always knew that our mission belonged in a space where stories of craft and sustainability could reach an even wider audience.
Etsy felt like the natural next step. It is a place where people come not just to shop, but to connect with makers, to find something original and lasting, and to support values that matter. By joining this community, we are able to showcase the artistry of our partners from Guatemala, India, Peru, and beyond to people who are already searching for items with meaning.
