Throughout the 1980s and 1990s my father painted vibrant, emotional pieces that reflected life back home in Uganda before immigrating to Canada with my family. Although he was unable to fully achieve his goals and sell all of his work, this never stopped him from creating and teaching art.

Around 2023 he was diagnosed with dementia, and his condition has since progressed to the point where he is bedridden and mostly non-verbal. I have revived this shop to share his art with others, because his art speaks even when he cannot.
