Why I love to create jewelry:
We really can’t call the situations that happen to us in our life.
I feel a strong connection to “The Maybe Story” of the Chinese Farmer, and the idea that “You never know what will be the consequence of the misfortune; or, you never know what will be the consequences of good fortune.”
— Alan Watts
I assume there is a type of quiet initiated when we finally grasp the scarcity of control we have in life. Countless circumstances far beyond our capacity to change. I am thankful for the things that feel negative. Storms, roadblocks, detours, closed doors, failures, others judgement. Although they feel inconvenient, and often times immense, I am happy to not be able to call it. Because we never truly know what these moments have protected us from. Certainly, things that were not meant for us. And the quiet may allow us to channel our strength and give us the room to focus our perspective toward that which is most significant.
The reasons we are alive.
Different for all of us. BUT, just imagine we funnel all of our energy towards those reasons…
Our path may become more clear and illuminate the way to the magic that has always been waiting for us.
I truly believe every experience I have had has led me here. Through all the chaos of this beautiful life, jewelry has always been there. I feel grounded when I am creating a unique piece with the hope that someone will feel drawn to it. Jewelry is one of the reasons I am alive. I am inspired by the thought that someone may feel a special bond to one of my creations. Maybe they even could use it as a reminder that they are on the right path, and that you really can’t call it.
I like to take special note when I feel like I am getting these "reminders." I haven't quite figured out what to call them yet myself, all as I know is that they are why I make jewelry and have continued to come back to it my whole life...

Each piece in my collection is thoughtfully crafted and prepared custom, making them one of a kind.
I make metalsmith pieces- sterling silver, brass, gold filled, and gemstones.
Wondering the story behind the name?
It all started with this '69 GMC that my dad and I fixed up. It had a three-speed manual transmission whose gearshift lever was mounted on the steering column: three on the tree. I didn’t know what that was at the time, so it is my dad and I’s little inside joke.
I have always felt drawn to things from the 60's-70's era. My dad has fixed up old cars my whole life, taken me to car shows, antique stores, vintage shops, etc. I feel drawn to the past that I didn't get to live in, but instead experience my own way- he smells, the look of things, the music, all the feels. I cannot articulate fully, but I like to think that my love of these things comes through in my jewelry.
Cheers,
Jamie
