Ik ben een thuisonderwijsmoeder met kinderen die zelf unieke leerbehoeften hebben. Ik heb meer dan 20 jaar lesgegeven aan leerlingen met speciale behoeften in het reguliere onderwijs. Nu help ik andere ouders die hun kinderen met unieke leerbehoeften thuis willen onderwijzen, bij het doorlopen van dit leertraject. Ik heb deze ouderhandleiding gemaakt als startpunt voor alle ouders met kinderen met speciale behoeften die thuisonderwijs volgen. Deze handleiding behandelt veel basisprincipes en beantwoordt veel van uw eerste vragen en zorgen. Ik sta klaar om ouders individueel te begeleiden als u meer specifieke ondersteuning nodig heeft dan in deze handleiding staat.
I am a homeschool mom with unique learners of my own. I have taught special needs students in the public school system for over 20 years. Now, I help other parents who want to homeschool their unique learners navigate the learning at home journey. I created this parent guide as a starting point for all parents who have special needs children in the homeschool setting. This guide covers many of the basics and will help answer many of your initial questions/concerns.
