Sorry, we could not translate this listing to English.

The pattern is available in English (US terms) and Dutch.

This shawl is inspired by the book ‘The History of bees’ by Maja Lunde. The book contains the stories of Tao, William and George and each have a relation to bees. The shawl is inspired by their stories and we will crochet our way from Tao’s story as a polinator, to George’s story as a beekeeper to Williams story as a hive designer.

About the pattern
Difficulty & Techniques: Definitely an intermediate pattern due to the puff stitches, the front- and backpost dc and tr (US) and working with two colors in the same row. But hopefully good to follow for an advanced beginner with the pictures and charts.

Pattern format & language
Written pattern with pictures and charts in English (US) and Dutch.

The shawl uses two colors of Scheepjes Metropolis. This is a beautiful fingering weight wool yarn (75% merino/25% nylon; 200m/50g). I have picked a few different colorways inspired by bees <3

Color A: 6 x Scheepjes Metropolis (1200m/300g)
Color B: 2 x Scheepjes Metropolis (400m/100g)

My brother is getting married in June, and I’m making this shawl for my sister in law for the wedding. The instructions are super easy to follow, and the shawl is working up beautifully! Definitely going to buy more patterns!
