EN: E-book Tangles Kintsugi style
Digital file type(s): 1 PDF
Last year I gave multiple classes about Zentangle® in combination with the Japanese art of kintsugi. (Later on I will tell you more about what kintsugi is exactly.) My students were all, without exception, very enthusiastic about this simple technique. That’s when I thought about making an e-book. I want everyone to be able to try this technique since it is so much fun!
Kintsugi, also known as Kintsukuroi, is the Japanese art form of mending broken pottery with a special golden, silver or platinum resin lacquer. Kintsugi means ‘golden joinery’, and I think that the gold repairs are the ones that are best known. The repairs are beautifully visible instead of trying to mend it as invisible as possible.
Zentangle in combination with the Kintsugi technique enables you to rescue old and abandoned Zentangle drawings and make them into a stunning art pieces.
I hope you will enjoy the process of combining the kintsugi idea with Zentangle.
In this e-book you will find six detailed projects and an extra bonus project with which you can start right away!
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.

Brilliant, Looking forward to using this
Nice assignments, very diverse. A good Zentangle inspiration at the beginning of the year!
I absolutely love the E-book Tangles in Escher style by Anouska Waardenburg. It is highly recommended. I have only done 2 exercises and learned so much. She also challenges you to use your own style.
It's a great clearly written E-Book for those who love Zentangle and admire Escher's style.
