I have been a polymer clay artist since 1987. I have won numerous awards and shipped my sculptures all over the world. I have made many things using clay but now I specialize mostly in dogs.
I have been married 42 years and have three chihuahuas, Tater Puddin' age 15. Blue Boo 4 years and JoJo 3 years.
I have many roles in my Etsy business: Designer, Creator, Curator, Editor, Customer Service, Marketer, Photographer, Graphic Artist and Shipper. I work totally on my own, no help from others. I design, sculpt, bake, paint and package each piece. I also answer hundreds of emails and messages monthly.
From my home studio in South Carolina each piece is 100% freehand sculpted by me with colored polymer clay., without the use of molds. Some details are hand painted. Even though I may make several of the same piece, as I do my card and phone holders and Christmas ornaments, each one is an original, starting from a lump of polymer clay. You can rest assured that you will always receive a Sally's Bits of Clay original piece.
