Ci siamo espansi dai nostri lontani inizi qui! Oltre ai ritagli di carta vintage per l'artigianato, ora offriamo anche accessori per gioielli in filo metallico progettati e realizzati a mano da me, insieme a gioielli e segnalibri unici.
Vendiamo online da molti anni, ma di recente abbiamo avuto una vacanza *molto* lunga mentre ci trasferivamo da una città rumorosa e trafficata nel West Yorkshire a un grazioso e tranquillo villaggio nell'East Riding con vista sul fiume, da cui il nome del nostro nuovo negozio. Dopo quattro anni, non ci siamo ancora abituati a vedere le navi passare a una cinquantina di metri dal fondo del nostro giardino, dirette a Goole, il più grande porto interno del Regno Unito, e da lì tornare.
Non abbiamo più lo spazio per conservare grandi quantità di vecchi libri recuperati, quindi da ora in poi offriremo solo ritagli e fustelle tratti dalla nostra scorta di carta d'epoca conservata in quattro cassetti, anziché pagine intere, a meno che non siano di piccole dimensioni.
Da molti anni realizzo gioielli e materiali in filo e tessuto e mi è piaciuto tornare a fare le cose. Mi ritrovo a prendere molte nuove direzioni e ad allontanarmi dal mio stile precedente, il che è molto rinfrescante.
Nei miei gioielli non utilizzo mai fili o spille commerciali; tutti quelli che vedete nei miei pezzi sono stati progettati e realizzati a mano da me.

We have expanded from our long ago beginnings here! As well as vintage paper cut outs for crafts we now offer wire jewellery findings designed and hand crafted by me, along with unique jewellery and bookmarks.
We have been selling online for many years but recently had a *very* long vacation while we moved house from a busy, noisy town in West Yorkshire to a lovely, quiet village in the East Riding with river views - hence our new shop name. Four years on, we still haven't got used to seeing ships pass within fifty metres or so of the bottom of our garden going to and from Goole, the largest inland port in the UK.
We no longer have the space to store large quantities of salvaged old books, so will now only be offering cut outs and die cuts from our four drawer stash of vintage paper, rather than whole pages unless they are small ones.
I have been making jewellery, and wire and fabric supplies, for many years now and have relished getting back into the swing of things. I find myself taking many new directions and moving away from my previous style, which is very refreshing.
I never use commercial ear wires or commercial headpins in my jewellery, all those that you see in my pieces are designed and hand crafted by me.
