When our oldest daughter was born I started to wear her in a soft structured carrier. She basically lived in that thing and soon the first woven wrap moved into the house. And then another one. And another one. One year and many wraps later I became a babywearing consultant. Another year later I bought my first loom. I figured that if I wanted to try a handwoven wrap I might as well weave I myself. After many hours with a lot of struggling my first woven piece came off the loom. A lovely babywrap! That was the moment I got hooked. Nowadays I have a floor loom, table loom, lots of yarns and tons of dyes. Weaving is so much fun!
