Are these templates legally valid?
Yes. Every template is based on current Dutch rental law (Burgerlijk Wetboek, Besluit Kleine Herstellingen). They are designed to be sent directly to your landlord or property manager. However, they do not replace professional legal advice for complex cases.
Can I edit the templates?
Absolutely. All templates are delivered as .docx files that you can open and edit in Word, Google Docs, or any compatible application. Simply fill in your details and send.
I don't speak Dutch. Will my landlord accept an English letter?
In the Netherlands, landlords are not required to accept English correspondence. However, many property managers (especially those working with expats) do. If needed, you can use the template as a basis and have it translated.
Do you offer refunds?
Because these are digital products, I cannot offer refunds once the file has been downloaded. If you have any issues with your purchase, please reach out and I'll do my best to help.
