Hi! I'm Raquel, the owner of Calico Craft Designs. I have enjoyed making small craft items since I was a child. I couldn't wait until the weekend when I could sit with my mom at our dining room table and create something fabulous! A small ornament. A picture for the refrigerator. A card to send to my grandmother. Crafts are a part of my life and who I am. I still get excited about searching for the perfect Christmas gift idea for my family and close friends each year!

In 2013, I decided to open a small Etsy shop in order to share some of my items with others. I temporarily closed it down in 2015 due to an impending move to a new state. Now that my husband and I are settled into our new home and a new routine, I'm ready to start again. This time with all new ideas and a new focus! During the time away from Etsy, I discovered that I absolutely love and enjoy crafting quilted fabric ornaments and trees. I have decided to add them to my shop for 2021 and I hope that you love them as much as I do.
