¡Hola y bienvenidos a mi tienda! Sé que es difícil de deletrear y, en retrospectiva, debería haber elegido un nombre más fácil, pero ahora que tengo clientes habituales, no hay vuelta atrás. Para aquellos que están confundidos, HOWDDODE significa Howdy Do Dee. Era un títere pelirrojo con pecas de los años 50-60. Y cuando era más joven, los niños solían llamarme Howdy Do Dee. (¡O Lucille Ball!) ¡Ahí lo tienes!

Como muchas personas aquí en Etsy, soy ama de casa y trato de arreglármelas como todos los demás. No vivo en una mansión, no tengo autos nuevos. Sólo estoy tratando de ganar un poco de dinero extra para que mi familia pueda irse de vacaciones de vez en cuando y pagar algunas facturas (me vienen a la mente la universidad, los impuestos, el combustible para calefacción y la electricidad). Y como todo el mundo sabe, las facturas no dejan de llegar.

Me lleva bastante tiempo crear los diseños y estoy muy orgulloso de hacerlo. Cuando comencé a crearlos hace más de 15 años (una especie de pasatiempo), fue porque descubrí que a mucha gente le gustarían libros PERSONALIZADOS.

Érase una vez un trabajo en Manhattan en una empresa de consultoría, donde hacía la mayor parte, si no todo, el trabajo gráfico. Teniendo experiencia en arte, quería hacer algo que mostrara mi lado creativo y al mismo tiempo disfrutar de mis hijos a medida que crecían. Esta es la mezcla perfecta de ambos mundos. ¡Pude crear estas fantásticas ideas ORIGINALES para mis libros y etiquetas y compartirlas con el mundo, mientras me quedaba en casa con mis hijos!

Me encanta crear MIS LIBROS y ETIQUETAS. Cada diseño ha sido pensado por mí, pero no me importan las recomendaciones. Necesitas algo que no ves, ¡déjamelo saber!

Hello, and welcome to my shop! I know it's hard to spell, and in retrospect, I should have chosen an easier name, but now that I have repeat customers, there is no turning back. For those that are confused, HOWDDODE stands for Howdy Do Dee. He was a red haired puppet with freckles from the 50-60's. And when I was younger, kids used to call me Howdy Do Dee. (Or Lucille Ball!) So there you have it!

Like many people here on Etsy, I am a stay at home mom, I am trying to get by just like everyone else. I don't live in a mansion, I don't own new cars. I am just trying to make a little extra money so that my family can go on a vacation every now and then and pay some bills, (college, taxes, heating oil and electric come to mind). And as anyone knows, the bills just don't stop coming.

The designs take me quite some time to create, and I take great pride in doing so. When I started creating these over 15 years ago (kind of a hobby), it was because I found that a lot of people would like PERSONALIZED books.

Once upon a time I worked in Manhattan at a Consulting Firm, where I did most if not all of their graphic's work. Having a background in art, I wanted to do something that showed my creative side, while still getting to enjoy my children as they grew up. This is the perfect mix of both worlds. I got to create these great ORIGINAL ideas for my books and tags and share them with the world, while I got to stay home with my kids!

I do love to create MY BOOKS and TAGS. Each design has been thought up by me, but I don't mind any recommendations. Need something you don't see, just let me know!
