Então comecei a fazer as minhas próprias coisas. Eu costumava passear pelas lojas com minhas duas filhas procurando por algo — fosse roupa, um livro ou uma obra de arte — e tudo nas prateleiras era sem graça, brega ou parecia não ter sido feito para ninguém em particular. Nunca conseguíamos encontrar nada que combinasse com o nosso senso de humor ou estilo pessoal.

Esse é basicamente o objetivo principal. Eu crio roupas, livros de colorir e peças com coisas que as pessoas realmente dizem e pensam. Se te faz rir ou simplesmente te representa, então cumpriu seu propósito.

So I started making it myself. I would walk through stores with my two daughters looking for things—whether it was clothes, a book, or a piece of art—and everything on the shelves was just boring, cheesy, or felt like it was made for nobody in particular. We could never find anything that matched our sense of humor or personal style.

That’s pretty much the whole goal here. I make apparel, coloring books, and pieces with things people actually say and think. If it makes you laugh or just feels like you, then it did its job.
