Veronique is a professional illustrator, living and working in Maastricht, The Netherlands.

In 2007 she graduated as an artist at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Maastricht. After that she finished a master degree in graphic design at Luca School of Arts in Ghent, Belgium. Today, she focusses primarily on creating illustrations for various clients and also making personal work.

“The analogue human hand is always present in my work. Alleged inaccuracies and imperfections give more character than a slick clean computer design. That is an important aspect of my work. In various ways I experiment with the balance between digital and analog or crafts. I like to mix different styles and techniques with each other to achieve a unique visual language.”
