Malla Collection comenzó como un proyecto sincero de mi parte, una madre nepalí en el Reino Unido, inspirada por mis propios hijos y el deseo de transmitirles nuestra lengua y cultura nativas. Durante el confinamiento, para ayudar especialmente a mi hijo, comencé a hacer tarjetas didácticas en nepalí hechas a mano, que no solo lo ayudaron a aprender, sino que también despertaron la idea de algo más grande, ya que noté una brecha: la falta de recursos creativos, atractivos y aptos para niños para enseñar nepalí a los niños nacidos en el extranjero.
Malla Collection es una tienda online familiar que ofrece recursos digitales para aprender nepalí. Estamos trabajando para añadir más productos digitales, como libros electrónicos y libros de actividades. Nuestra misión es hacer que el aprendizaje del nepalí sea divertido, accesible y significativo para niños y familias de todo el mundo.
A medida que crezcamos, esperamos expandirnos a productos físicos que celebren la cultura nepalí, llevando un pedacito de Nepal a hogares de todo el mundo. Malla Collection es más que una tienda: es una forma de unir nuestra cultura y nuestro conocimiento.

Malla Collection began as a heartfelt project by myself, a Nepali mum in the UK, inspired by my own children and the desire to pass on our native language and culture to our children. During lockdown, to help especially my son, I started making handmade Nepali flashcards, which not only helped him learn but also sparked the idea for something bigger as I noticed a gap: the lack of creative, engaging, and child-friendly resources to teach Nepali to children born abroad.
Now, Malla Collection is a family-owned online store offering digital Nepali learning resources. We are working to add more digital products like e-books, and activity books. Our mission is to make learning Nepali fun, accessible, and meaningful for kids and families worldwide.
As we grow, we hope to expand into physical products that celebrate Nepali culture, bringing a piece of Nepal into homes everywhere. Malla Collection is more than a store—it’s a way to bridge our culture & knowledge together.
