Our family business
Travis and I are both designers, crafters & woodworkers, operating our businesses from our country home & shop in Poynette, Wisconsin where we live with our two kiddos, 4 adopted cats, 1 rescue dog and a flock of chickens & ducks. We design our creations, cut, sand and seal our wood products in our wood shop out back where Travis runs his business Majestic Oaks Fine Woodworking, LLC. I do design layouts, dye sublimation, painting, finishing, photography and packaging from my craft studio up at the house. We love being able to have the freedom to work our dreams and be home for our kids.
I started my love for woodworking when I was about 5 years old, sanding scrap wood from my Dad's wood shop then painting pictures on them, making wooden boxes, Popsicle stick tables and scores of other crafts. Art class was always my favorite class needless to say. After graduating with a BA in Interior Design from UW-Stout, I was out in the workforce until our first child was born. A few years later, I started the craft show circuit and opened my Etsy shop. I'm constantly dreaming up and designing new ideas and keep adding new items to my shop. I love to create unique, personalized and useful gift ideas for people...products that have a warm, sentimental, handmade look. A hopeless perfectionist, I take extra time making sure everything I make is up to my high standards!:)
