Ho iniziato Mixed Plate circa sette anni fa mentre vivevo ancora alle Hawaii. A quel tempo, ero nelle prime fasi del passaggio dalla vendita dei miei gioielli in conto vendita nei negozi locali alla creazione del mio sito web per la mia linea. Mi sono subito reso conto di quante piccole imprese erano là fuori cercando di vendere le loro merci con un budget limitato. I dollari pubblicitari sono scarsi quando sei un imprenditore indipendente. Volevo mostrare il mio amore e il mio sostegno ad artisti e designer di prodotti fatti a mano. Ed è così che è nato Mixed Plate.

Nel corso degli anni ho avuto la fortuna di aver incontrato sia online che di persona alcune delle mie persone creative preferite. E sono costantemente ispirato da loro insieme alle cose semplici che incontro ogni giorno.

Sono orgoglioso di poter mostrare una sincera eccitazione e gioia nel presentare gli altri e il loro lavoro attraverso Mixed Plate. Grazie al mio blog, sono in grado di introdurre grandi scoperte al mondo.

Ho deciso di espandere parte della felicità che trovo nelle piccole cose della vita e creare gli articoli in questo negozio. È solo uno dei tanti progetti a cui sto lavorando per Mixed Plate che spero vi piaccia.

I started Mixed Plate around seven years ago while I was still living in Hawaii. At that time, I was in the early stages of moving from selling my jewelry on consignment at local shops to creating my very own website for my line. I quickly realized how many small business folks were out there trying to sell their wares on a budget. Advertising dollars are scarce when you are an independent business owner. I wanted to show my love and support of artists and designers of handmade goods. And that is how Mixed Plate was born.

Over the years I have been fortunate enough to have met both online and in person some of my favorite creative people. And I am constantly being inspired by them along with the simple things I encounter each day.

I am proud of being able to show a sincere excitement and joy in featuring others and their work through Mixed Plate. Because of my blog, I am able to introduce great finds to the world.

I decided to expand on some of the happiness I find in the little things in life and create the items in this shop. It's just one of the many projects I'm working on for Mixed Plate that I hope you'll enjoy.
