Sono cresciuto nella zona sud di Chicago e ho trascorso anni a combattere contro ansia, depressione, pensieri suicidi e dipendenza da sostanze, mentre il mondo mi vedeva come una persona che aveva tutto sotto controllo. Quando finalmente ho chiesto aiuto, ho dovuto recarmi nella zona ovest per trovarlo, perché semplicemente non esistevano risorse dove vivevo. Quell'esperienza mi ha spezzato il cuore e ha acceso in me una scintilla.
Nel pieno della pandemia, ho deciso di chiedere aiuto. Ho conseguito le mie certificazioni. E ho fondato Next Steps Outreach LLC per essere la risorsa che io non ho mai avuto: fornire supporto per il recupero, benessere emotivo e servizi di salute comportamentale a persone che sono state trascurate e non hanno ricevuto l'assistenza necessaria.
Ogni capo in questo negozio racchiude la nostra missione. Quando indossi NSO, non indossi solo un marchio, ma una dichiarazione d'intenti: ogni vita conta, ogni storia ha valore e ogni vita lascia un'impronta.

My name is LeNita Gardner, and I know what it feels like to hit rock bottom with no one in your corner.
I grew up on the south side of Chicago and spent years battling anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and substance use disorder while the world saw someone who had it together. When I finally asked for help, I had to travel to the west side to find it -- because resources simply didn't exist where I lived. That experience broke my heart and lit a fire in me.
In the midst of the pandemic, I made a choice to get some help. I got my certifications. And I built Next Steps Outreach LLC to be the resource I never had -- providing recovery support, emotional wellness, and behavioral health services to people who've been overlooked and underserved.
Every piece in this shop carries our mission. When you wear NSO, you're not just wearing a brand -- you're wearing a statement that every life matters, every story counts, and every life leaves a fingerprint.
