Ciao, sono Kacie.
Sono mamma di due bambine piccole, di tre cani viziatissimi e la persona che si cela dietro Notes From Here.
Prima di diventare mamma a tempo pieno, ho lavorato per anni nel marketing, nel branding e nel design. Pur amando il lato creativo di quel lavoro, sentivo la mancanza di creare qualcosa di veramente personale. Tra i sonnellini, il ritiro dei bambini da scuola e il meraviglioso caos di crescere dei piccoli, ho iniziato a creare design come sfogo creativo. È così che è nato Notes From Here.
Questo negozio è una raccolta di cose che amo davvero: parole profonde, design d'ispirazione vintage, libri tascabili consumati dal tempo, ritrovi di quartiere, biglietti scritti a mano e nostalgia estiva. Ma in fondo, Notes From Here parla di comunità, delle persone che si sostengono a vicenda, dei luoghi che entrano a far parte delle nostre storie e dei momenti quotidiani che ci aiutano a sentirci connessi.
La maggior parte delle mie creazioni nasce da una frase scarabocchiata su un quaderno, da una conversazione a cui non riesco a smettere di pensare o da un sentimento che avrei voluto che qualcuno esprimesse a parole. Creo pezzi che indosserei personalmente, regalerei a un amico, metterei in un pacco regalo o che troverei per caso in una piccola boutique indipendente e di cui mi innamorerei all'istante.
Tutto ciò che vedete qui è stato progettato da me. Dedico innumerevoli ore a perfezionare font, colori, layout e dettagli per creare pezzi che siano senza tempo, ricercati e facili da vivere.
Per me è fondamentale creare prodotti in modo responsabile. Ecco perché ogni articolo viene realizzato su ordinazione, anziché essere prodotto in serie e immagazzinato in un magazzino. Realizzando i prodotti solo quando sono necessari, contribuiamo a ridurre le scorte in eccesso e gli sprechi inutili. Potrebbe richiedere un po' più di tempo rispetto a un prodotto già pronto, ma credo che ridurre gli sprechi valga l'attesa.
Acquistando da Notes From Here, sostieni una persona in carne e ossa, una piccola impresa e un sogno creativo nato durante i sonnellini, dopo la nanna e in tutti i piccoli momenti intermedi.

Per me è sempre stato importante costruire una comunità. Sebbene Notes From Here sia nato dalla mia comunità locale, credo che il concetto di comunità si estenda ben oltre il luogo in cui viviamo. Hi, I'm Kacie.
I'm a mom to two young girls, three very spoiled dogs, and the person behind Notes From Here.
Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I spent years working in marketing, branding, and design. While I loved the creative side of that work, I found myself missing the feeling of making something that was truly personal. Somewhere between nap schedules, school pickups, and the beautiful chaos of raising little kids, I started creating designs as a creative outlet. That's how Notes From Here came to be.
This shop is a collection of things I genuinely love: thoughtful words, vintage-inspired design, well-worn paperbacks, neighborhood hangs, handwritten notes, and summer nostalgia. At its heart, though, Notes From Here is really about community, the people who show up for one another, the places that become part of our stories, and the everyday moments that help us feel connected.
Most of my designs start as a phrase scribbled into a notebook, a conversation I can't stop thinking about, or a feeling I wish someone had put into words. I create pieces that I would personally wear, gift to a friend, tuck into a care package, or stumble across in a small independent shop and immediately fall in love with.
Everything you see here is designed by me. I spend countless hours refining fonts, colors, layouts, and details to create pieces that feel timeless, thoughtful, and easy to live in.
One thing that's important to me is creating products responsibly. That's why every item is made to order rather than mass-produced and stored in a warehouse. By making products only when they're needed, we help reduce excess inventory and unnecessary waste. It may take a little longer than pulling something off a shelf, but I believe creating less waste is worth the wait.
