As a Certified Child Life Specialist, I am too familiar with the lack of study materials available while pursuing the field of child life and learning about child development. During my journey as a student, this line from Tim McGraw's "Humble and Kind" stuck with me. I felt alone in my journey and had no idea where to find the answers to my questions. Sometimes, I didn't even know what my questions were. However, I knew once I got to where I was going, I couldn't help but turn back around and help the next one in line. Which is when Nurturing Development was born. We are in this together now.

My hope is to help bridge this gap and provide unique and effective study materials for anyone studying child development, not just child life students. I am always open to making new materials so if you are interested in seeing a particular kind of flashcards or study material, please reach out. I love new ideas! :)

Additionally, I have recently began adding distraction/diversion tools that I have created to use in my own practice and decided it is time to share! Please feel free to share ideas you would love to see in this section too! <3
