En realidad, el tiempo vuela y, en el último recuento, en realidad fue hace más de 40 años que comenzamos a hacer negocios en la costa este. En ese momento, Steve todavía estaba en la escuela y vendía sellos y coleccionables filatélicos por correo y en exhibiciones de sellos en todo el noreste. Poco después, la pasión de Steve por la historia lo encontró especializándose en portadas de inauguración y luego en otros artículos de recuerdos presidenciales.
En aquellos días, Steve solía arrastrarme (Lori) a los espectáculos. Actually, time does fly and at last count it was actually over 40+ years ago we started in business on the east coast. At that time Steve was still in school and selling stamps and philatelic collectibles by mail and at stamp shows throughout the Northeast. Soon thereafter Steve's passion for history found him specializing in inauguration covers and then other presidential memorabilia items.
In those days Steve used to drag me (Lori) around to the shows. Faced with the choice of sitting in a corner bored to tears or helping out, I began to get more and more involved until the day came when I started to operate the business full time while Steve pursued his career in publishing and then later in business brokerage.
We hope you enjoy the vintage photograph of Steve and I. It took Steve an hour to convince me to dress up in costume for the photo, and it wasn't even halloween!
