Veamos cómo nació PinkyPurple;

Cuando era pequeña estaba obsesionada con el rosa, la ropa linda, las flores y los árboles. Ahora estoy cumpliendo mi sueño basado en esas obsesiones.

Un día mi abuela me regaló su vieja máquina de coser. Fui a comprar algunas telas y comencé a enseñarme a mí mismo. ¡Y me di cuenta de que acababa de encontrar el regalo que nunca supe que tenía! Fue entonces cuando todo comenzó a emocionarse. Así que cuando mi experiencia creció, compré una máquina overlock e invertí en muchas telas y otros materiales.

Déjame decirte cómo se encontró el nombre PinkyPurple. Cuando estaba en un festival en Hungría tuvimos una discusión sobre cómo nombrar un determinado color, mi favorito. No era realmente rosa y no realmente púrpura, tan rosado púrpura que era. A partir de ese momento, cada vez que veía o pensaba en mi color favorito, la palabra púrpura rosado resonaba en mi cabeza.
Así que cuando tuve que pensar en un nombre para mi tienda, supe que iba a ser PinkyPurple. No es solo una palabra hermosa, la expresión de ella me describe por completo.

A medida que adquirí la experiencia suficiente para hacer ropa, comencé a construir una pequeña colección. Primero tiré casi toda mi ropa vieja de mi armario y la llené con mis propios diseños. Entonces empecé a pensar cómo podía ver a otras personas usando mis diseños. Ya conocía a Etsy, así que abrí mi tienda aquí.

Entonces, ¡allí estaba enfrentando todo el trabajo real! Porque no quería vender solo en línea. También me gusta hacer cosas en persona. Así que también estoy mostrando mi ropa en los festivales.

Ahora estoy tratando de encontrar la mezcla correcta entre personal y en línea. Todavía queda un largo camino por recorrer, pero de un desafío a otro, mantiene las cosas ocupadas e interesantes, ¡tal como me gusta!

Let's see how PinkyPurple was born;

When I was little I was obsessed with pink, cute clothes, flowers and trees. Now I'm fulfilling my dream based on those obsessions.

One day my grandmother gave me her old sewing machine. I went buying some fabrics and started to teach myself. And I realized that I just found the gift I never knew I had! That's when everything started to get excited. So when my experience grew, I bought an overlock machine and I invested in a lot of fabrics and other materials.

Let me tell you how the name PinkyPurple was found. When I was on a festival in Hungary we had a discussion on how to name a certain colour, my favourite one. It was not really pink and not really purple, so pinky purple it was. From that moment, every time I saw or thought about my favourite colour, the word pinky purple echoed through my head.
So when I had to think about a name for my shop, I knew it was going to be PinkyPurple. It is not only a beautiful word, the expression of it describes me completely.

As I became experienced enough to make clothes, I began to build a little collection. First I threw almost all of my old clothes out of my closet and filled them with my own designs. Then I began to think how I could see other people wearing my designs. I already knew Etsy, so I opened my shop here.

So, there I was facing all the real work! Because I didn't want to sell only online. I also like to do things in person. So I am also showing my clothes on the festivals.

Now I'm trying to find to right mix between personal and online. It is still a long way to go, but from one challenge to another, it keeps things busy and interesting, just the way I like it!
