Schapenzacht stands for personal, passion, honesty and love. The designs are completely handmade, from shaving, washing and painting to felting and finishing. All coats are from Dutch soil of which a large part of the sheepfold are De Belhamel and part of our own sheep.

The goal of Schapenzacht is mainly to make beautiful things and to share this with people! Wool gives a certain feeling, it is warm, soft and 100% natural, it does something with the mood of a human being. Making a special piece that hangs or lies in people's homes feels like a great honor.

But I also want to create a kind of awareness by sharing the story behind the wool. Most of the wool I use comes from heath sheep, which are essential to maintain the heath and our Dutch nature reserves. We give nature a helping hand and the residual product, the wool, is processed into a beautiful design. Sustainable, ecological and unique.

Schapenzacht staat voor persoonlijk, passie, eerlijkheid en liefde. De ontwerpen zijn volledig handgemaakt, vanaf het scheren, wassen en verven tot het vilten en afwerken toe. Alle vachten zijn van Nederlandse bodem waarvan een groot deel van de schaapskooi De Belhamel zijn en een deel van onze eigen schapen.

Het doel van Schapenzacht is vooral mooie dingen maken en dit met mensen te delen! Wol geeft een bepaald gevoel, het is warm, zacht en 100% natuurlijk, het doet iets met de gemoedstoestand van een mens. Een bijzonder stuk maken wat bij mensen in huis hangt of ligt voelt als een grote eer.

Maar daarnaast wil ik ook een soort bewustzijn creëren door het verhaal achter de wol te delen. De meeste wol die ik gebruik komt van heideschapen, welke essentieel zijn om de hei en onze Nederlandse natuurgebieden te onderhouden. Wij helpen de natuur een handje en het restproduct, de wol, word verwerkt tot een mooi ontwerp. Duurzaam, ecologisch en uniek.
