SpriteWorks believes that magic can take all forms in the world and our crafts welcome people to express their own vision of that through accessible and sustainable DIY craft items
Deep in the heart of the Pacific Northwest coast of Canada a little bit of magic touched down one day and sparked the creation of SpriteWorks. What started as a project to bring joy to a Vancouver, BC neighbourhood has blossomed into a passion to share and encourage others’ creative spirit. At SpriteWorks we strive to bring you a little closer to nature, and the enchanted world a little closer to you.
All of our products have a Do-It-Yourself finishing stage. We believe there is an artist and friend of the fay in everyone. Some creatures desire fancy doors while others seek out a humble door - no matter your outcome the enchantment is there.
It’s no surprise that as a young couple living in a rainforest region we have a deep commitment to sustainable materials and practices.

At SpriteWorks we create for the natural world, so we have a deep belief in keeping it healthy and thriving. Sustainability is embedded in our vision which is reflected in the material we use: baltic birch plywood. Birch trees grow quite fast so they are easily and quickly renewed as a resource. Waste material is easily recycled rather than burned or garbaged like some composites. Plus, this material is made with exterior grade glue which makes it a great choice for the outdoors. We still recommend finishing your door if you plan place it outside - send us a message if you want some how-tos!

All our products are designed and made in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We use a laser cutter to cut all our products… never heard of it… think bright, hot light (like a star).

We spent a long time seeking out the right packaging, and sustainability was at the top of our list! Our packing supplier is committed to becoming an ‘ecologically net positive’ company. What does that mean? It means that each item leads to a carbon reduction. Our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials and they are all compostable. Don’t have access to compost? That’s ok! You can also recycle it with your paper products.
