I used to sell hand-painted ukuleles but decided to try my hand at political bins and stickers as a way of channeling my rage at what the current government is doing to my province.

I'm only shipping to Ontario at this time.

I first found this lovely Serbian proverb on Pinterest. I love how the grass and stars glow against the black ukulele.
This design idea was suggested by a friend and I think it is the perfect sentiment for trying something new!
One of my earliest designs and still one of my favourites. So sweet and simple.

Creating mandala ukuleles takes a steady hand and patience, but it's very meditative. Each design is one-of-a-kind.

Welcome to UkuLeeShee

Hello and thank you for visiting my shop. I'm Jenny, a Toronto teacher, cat lover, bike rider, ukulele player, and now ukulele artist.

I started playing the ukulele in the summer of 2012 and I fell instantly in love. It's such a happy, easy-to-learn, portable instrument. Throw it in your backpack and fun is on its way! I taught myself to play the first four chords by watching YouTube videos. If I can learn, anyone can!

In the summer of 2014 I moved back to Toronto after a year in Bali (yes, Bali!) where I had given away two of my ukuleles. I bought myself a little white uke as a replacement and then one day had a Eureka moment when I remembered I had Sharpie paint markers in my desk. I picked them up, started doodling on the back of the ukulele, and ta da! UkuLeeShee was born.
