4 out of 5 starsthe item is fantastic yet I was expecting it to continuously blow its bubbles to help supply the air for my tank. it was a miscalculation on my part but I still enjoy the product nonetheless!
Caleb responded on Nov 17, 2025
Hi Meghan, thank you so much for your sweet note! I’m really glad you like the item. I can see how the bubble timing might feel different from what you had in mind, and it’s totally okay — a lot of people expect it to run nonstop. The pump is made to cycle gently so it gives steady airflow while keeping noise low. I’m happy it’s still bringing you joy in your tank. If you want tips to get a more constant flow, just tell me anytime — I’m right here and happy to help!

5 out of 5 starsit could've been cleaned a little better but otherwise not a bad product. It's 3d printed out of filament which came out decent. I can see some places that have residual pieces from the supports on and where the layers are visible.
Caleb responded on Apr 2, 2026
Thank you so much, John. I really appreciate your honest feedback. I’m glad you found it decent overall. You’re right that 3D printed pieces can have some visible layer lines or small marks from supports. I do try to clean and finish each piece as much as possible, so your note helps me improve that step. It means a lot that you still felt it was a good product.

Frequently asked questions
What materials are used to create your 3D-printed décor, and why are they aquarium-safe?
Every item is printed in either PLA+ or PETG filament sourced from U.S. manufacturers who provide third-party safety certifications. PLA+ is a plant-based polymer that is inert once printed and fully cured, while PETG offers superior impact resistance and a slightly higher glass-transition temperature, making it ideal for warmer aquaria or terraria. Both materials are free of BPA, heavy metals, and plasticizers, and have been soak-tested in fresh and brackish water for extended periods to confirm that they do not leach harmful compounds or alter pH.
Do I need to cure or seal the décor before adding it to my tank?
No additional curing is necessary. Each piece undergoes a two-stage post-processing: first a mechanical de-burring and edge-smoothing to remove any print artifacts, then a 24-hour rinse and soak in dechlorinated water to remove micro-particulates. You may give the item a quick rinse in your own dechlorinated water for peace of mind, but it is otherwise ready for immediate use.
How long do custom orders typically require?
Lead time depends on design complexity and current print queue. Simple size adjustments ship within 5–7 business days, while fully bespoke structures that require iterative prototyping can take 10–14 business days. We provide a written timeline and progress updates—including preview photos—so you can plan your aquascape with confidence.
Are the edges safe for delicate fins, antennae, or reptile skin?
Absolutely. After printing, each item is hand-finished with progressive-grit wet sanding and inspected under magnification to ensure a sub-0.2 mm surface roughness (Ra). This eliminates sharp ridges that could snag fins, barbels, or delicate exoskeletons.
Are these products suitable for reptiles, amphibians, or isopod terrariums?
Yes. PETG’s higher temperature tolerance (softening point ~80 °C) makes it safe for habitats with moderate basking spots, while PLA+ is perfectly stable in typical terrarium humidity and ambient heat. Both materials are non-toxic to amphibians and terrestrial invertebrates. For enclosures exceeding 40 °C at the basking surface, PETG is recommended.
How durable are your pieces compared with natural stone or ceramic décor?
While lighter than ceramic or stone, our 3D-printed structures achieve a tensile strength of 50–60 MPa (PETG) and resist typical aquarium impacts. They are less likely to crack under accidental drops and exert significantly less stress on glass panels, making them ideal for nano and rimless tanks.
What is the recommended cleaning procedure over the life of the product?
Rinse with tank water during regular maintenance to remove biofilm. For stubborn algae, use a soft toothbrush or dedicated aquarium-safe sponge. Avoid bleach or harsh solvents, as these can degrade filament integrity. If deep cleaning is required, a brief soak in a dilute (3%) hydrogen peroxide solution followed by thorough rinsing is safe.
Do you offer wholesale or professional aquascaping partnerships?
Yes. We supply breeders, fish stores, and professional aquascapers with volume-priced orders and private-label options. Please contact us with projected quantities and timeline; we can provide bulk packaging and custom branding upon request.
Do you ship internationally and handle customs paperwork?
Yes. We ship worldwide from the United States with full HS codes and material declarations to streamline customs clearance. Buyers are responsible for local import duties or VAT. For EU customers, our packaging includes CE-compliant material data sheets upon request.
Can these items be painted or sealed for a different look?
If you wish to add decorative finishes, use only epoxy-based or aquarium-certified polyurethane coatings. These coatings must be fully cured for at least seven days before submersion. We also offer multi-filament prints that achieve natural gradients without the need for additional paint.
