Will the TrackMount fit my cane?
The TrackMount fits cylindrical canes and mobility aids with a shaft diameter between 7/16" and 7/8". The easiest way to check is our free printable sizing guide: print it at 100% scale, fold along the line, set your cane on the fold, and compare it to the diagram to see whether it falls within the fit range. Message me and I'll send you a printable sizing guide, or check your cane's shaft diameter with its manufacturer or supplier. The Main Cap covers most walking canes; the Extended Cap reaches thinner shafts like white canes.
Does it come with the AirTag or tracker?
No — The TrackMount is the holder only, so you use your own tracker. It's designed to fit an Apple AirTag and also works with Tile Sticker and Moto Tag (including Moto Tag 2).
Will it actually stay put?
Yes. The TrackMount uses a rigid threaded clamp you tighten by hand — no tools needed. Once it's hand-tight it holds firmly through everyday walking and the normal tapping of the cane tip, without sliding along the shaft.
We do recommend checking that it's snug before each use to ensure a proper fit.
Which caps do I use?
There are two caps that attach to the Main Body fork threads: a Main Cap for typical walking canes and an Extended Cap for thinner shafts such as white canes. For the tracker compartment, you get a Perforated Cap (lets the AirTag chime ring through) and a Solid Cap (extra protection from moisture and debris). Use whichever suits you.
Will it work on a white cane?
Yes. The extended cap is designed specifically to reach the thinner shafts common on white canes used by people who have low vision or are visually impaired. You can also use the main cap to attach the TrackMount to the handle of your white cane, depending on personal preference.
(A white cane folds up better when the TrackMount is secured to the handle of the white cane using the main cap).
What is it made of?
Each TrackMount is designed and 3D-printed in Sacramento, CA from durable PLA material, and ships straight from our shop.
What if it doesn't fit or arrives damaged?
Please use the sizing guide to confirm your cane falls within the 7/16"–7/8" range before buying, since fit-related returns follow my standard return policy. If your TrackMount arrives defective or damaged, message me within 7 days with a photo and I'll make it right with a free replacement or refund.
