How everything started
Trailing Around è nato dalla mia passione per le escursioni a lunga distanza. Fin da quando avevo 18 anni, ho esplorato sentieri in tutto il mondo: ho camminato nei deserti della Giordania, ho fatto trekking in Israele, ho percorso tutta la Nuova Zelanda e mi sono persino avventurato in Lapponia. Ho trascorso moltissimo tempo sui sentieri.
Lungo il percorso, mi sono reso conto che uno dei modi migliori per celebrare il completamento di un'escursione è con una toppa sullo zaino, qualcosa che simboleggi il traguardo raggiunto. Ma per molti sentieri, le toppe disponibili non rendevano giustizia alla bellezza del percorso stesso. Così, ho iniziato a disegnare le mie toppe personalizzate.
La risposta è stata incredibile. La gente continuava a chiedere se potevano averne una anche loro. È stato allora che ho deciso di aprire il mio negozio su Etsy, Trailing Around. Quello che era iniziato come un progetto personale si è trasformato in un piccolo negozio dove altri escursionisti e avventurieri possono trovare toppe che riflettono veramente lo spirito dei sentieri che amano.
Creo patch e adesivi solo per i percorsi che ho completato personalmente. Questo garantisce che ogni design onori e rifletta davvero il percorso che rappresenta. Tra questi:

Trailing Around actually started from my love for long-distance hiking. Ever since I was 18, I’ve explored trails all over the world-hiking through the deserts of Jordan, trekking across Israel, wandering the lenght of New Zealand and even venturing into Lapland. I’ve spent a lot of time on the trail.
Along the way, I realized that one of the best ways to celebrate completing a hike is with a patch on your backpack, something that marks your achievement. But for many trails, the patches available didn’t do justice to the beauty of the trail itself. So, I started designing my own patches.
The response was amazing. People kept asking if they could get one too. That’s when I decided to open my Etsy shop, Trailing Around. What began as a personal project has grown into a small shop where fellow hikers and adventurers can find patches that truly reflect the spirit of the trails they love.
I only create patches and stickers for trails I have personally completed. This ensures that each design truly honors and reflects the trail it represents. Those include:
