Honoring and Moving Forward
I have enjoyed working with wood for years but now it's my way of moving forward and honoring my son who passed away November 2nd of 2023. Nate was my youngest son only 38years old started feeling full really fast after eating in early 2022 and went to our family Doctor. He was given meds and seemed to improve. Once he finished the meds, the feeling came back, and the Doctor ordered an endoscope. Nate got the results a few days later at the worst possible time you see Nate was married and had a 3-year-old daughter and his wife was pregnant and at the hospital and just had their son when Nate got the news... aggressive form of stomach cancer. Devastated at the news but still trying to celebrate the birth of their son they kept the bad news to themselves for a few days. When they got home from the hospital after a few days he broke the news to his mother and me. Sadness and shock hit us in the face how and why did this happen to our son? We prayed daily for Nate to be healed from this terrible disease. Nate started with chemo then had his entire stomach removed and handled all of this with unwavering strength. Nate remained strong and positive and would say to anyone he knew or met Make Today A Great Day!! He lived those words every day and no matter what he never wavered from that! So on everything I sell Make Today A Great Day!! will be on it to hopefully spread that positivity to everyone! Thanks to everyone in advance for looking and purchasing something from my shop!.....Make Today A Great Day!! Pat
