How do objects acquire their meaning? Object or Not Object began with this very question. To this, a new curiosity was added: If we look at objects from a different perspective, does the meaning they carry change? Perhaps the meaning an object holds is shaped by our point of view and how we choose to see it.
We see objects not merely as “items,” but as concepts that can be read through meaning, relationship, function, and aesthetics. We love the transformations the objects accompanying our lives undergo after new encounters and connections. We are curious and excited about which stories they will blend into and what emotions they will carry.
We value the meanings we assign to objects just as much as the freedom not to assign them any meaning at all. This is a curious, open-to-change, and living space. Now, we invite you into this shared space where you can rethink your relationship with objects.
