Got left over nosewires? Because these are machine washable, you can use them in other great sewing projects too. Like collars, toys, bags, etc.

5 out of 5 starsI had ordered both the 12cm and the 10cm. Both are very handy - the 12cm is more suitable for glasses wearers I notice. The 10cm fits better with my narrow head. I'm very happy with it - the quality is top notch. They were delivered quickly and I use them every time in my own mouthcaps. They can indeed just be in the washing machine (I washed them at 60 degrees without any problems and left them in the mouth cap and used a wash bag). I also got another type of nose bar extra gift without caps because I was one of the first buyers.

How are these applied? Can you insert them into the mask or are they sticky?
You can easily sew a pocket in your home made nosemask and slide them in. The nosewires don't have a stick-on side. They are not meant for disposable facemasks nor for facemasks without a nosewire pocket.
Is it possible to order with track & trace shipping?
It's not a standard option at the moment (not yet). Everything is sent through normal postal mail without track & trace. When I started selling these nosewires I made a conscious choice to send it this way for 2 reasons.
1. The shipping costs are high (also without track & trace) compared to the product itself.
2. A lot of postal offices in my town that offer track & trace shipping were closed due to covid-19 measures. As the product was of help during the covid-19 outbreak, I decided to send it through normal postal mail without track & trace to avoid any further delays and to keep the prices as low as possible. The costs of me spending 2x30 minutes driving, plus parking costs, plus the time to wait in line, plus the track & trace shipping costs were so extremely high and caused delays in shipping - I didn't feel comfortable with that.
In case you prefer to order with track & trace, please contact me before ordering. Let me know how many nosewires you would like to order and to which country they would need to be shipped to. I can then calculate for you what it would cost. If you are ok with it, I can create a custom product for you so that you can order with track & trace shipping.
Care instructions
Do not microwave!
Machine washable at max 90 degrees Celsius (max 194 Fahrenheit).
Use a tightly woven laundry bag to prevent the nose clips getting lost in your washing machine / tumble dryer.
They will last less long when using a tumble dryer. To make them last longer I would advice not to dry tumble them.
Iron on low temperature while keeping the nosewire covered with a cotton cloth. Do not iron the plastic directly, and do not use high heat.
For safety reasons: don't leave small children unattended with the nosewires.
