I started my working live as an art therapist. This was a naturel step for me, being a creative person, who was always having fun making things and creating things. During the art therapist college years, I had to work with and discover a lot of materials. But is the soft materials, such as felt, fabrics and wool suited me most. When our son was born, and I became a “stay at home mum” I started to design little dolls and other figures of wool felt. First I tried to sell them in shops, readymade. That wasn’t a great success. Then someone gave me the advice to sell my designs as DIY kits. From the very beginning that was very successful. So now, for almost 13 years I design and produce my kits, and al still love to do so. In our backyard, I have a great studio and there, among all these wonderful materials I design and produce my kits. Inspiration is always everywhere, in nature, art, books, but also the internet and magazines. My designs are always happy, they have to make you smile, that’s my goal! Our kits are very complete, they contain all the materials you need to make the design. In our kits you will find the best wool felt there is, Holland felt. This wool felt meets the requirements for the Wool mark and ökotex 100 certificate. We also use hand dyed wool felt, this gives some of my design a more naturel look and is sometimes varicolored. My kits contain besides the materials a full description. A lot of description’s are translated in German, pease ask for it if you want them in German. If you want we also add an English version to it, to make it possible for all of you to easily make our beautiful design and give you a fun time doing it.
