Handcrafted, Viking Age style, tapered spindle sticks in Ash. From 8" to 11" long.
Inspired by (and derived from) extant spindle stick finds, such as those from the Oseberg ship burial and other Viking age sites.

Please select your preferred Length and Tip Style from the options. Notches and slots are cut at both ends unless otherwise requested.

The tip types shown in the second picture are slotted, notched, and plain. From left to right.

The diameter of each stick at the tips varies depending on tip style. Slotted sticks have 7mm diameter tips, notched sticks have 5mm diameter tips, and plain tips are 4mm in diameter.

Whorls are available separately. See listings.

Gorgeous spindle stick. Seemed expensive for what it was but it made all the difference to my spinning experience compared to a different spindle stick I had. Highly recommend this seller and item. I used the 11" stick with a viking replica pewter spindle whorl to spin Norfolk Horn. Absolute pleasure to use. Thank you and A⭐⭐⭐

Lovely spindle, thoughtfully made to be functional and sturdy. It's smooth enough to be pleasant to use and handle, but just grippy enough to hold the wool. Love it!
