THINGS TO CONSIDER

--> SETS = Regular + Mini cup
--> The AQUA glaze is a crazing glaze, which mean there are possible “cracks" in it. This is the goal of this glaze and is intentional!
--> Cleansing Dish + Brush not included

CAPACITY and DIMENSIONS

In its handmade nature, slight variations will occur in the glaze and size. The below dimensions are approximate on what's to be expected.

Regular Cup- Approximately:
Holds: 17-20 oz
Height: 3.5-3.75 inches
Base: 4.5-4.75 inches
Rim/ Lip: 3.75-4 inches

Mini Cup- Approximately:
Holds: 7-8 oz
Height: 2.5 inches
Base: 3.5 inches
Rim/Lip: 2.75-3 inches

CARE

To prolong the life of your new cup hand-washing is recommended , as with all handmade pottery.

PROCESS

Each piece takes hours and hours of work. It is thrown on the wheel, trimmed and handled. Then carved, fired in the kiln twice for bisque and glaze, painted, sanded, measured, photographed and shipped by ONE person. For a total of 2-4 weeks of process time from start to finish. It is truly handmade!!!

It’s made using stoneware; clay is fired to 2,232 degrees Fahrenheit .

Wheel-thrown and hand glazed in California in a home studio; BNCApottery. Glaze is a combination of commercial, food safe, colors. Again, each piece takes hours of work, especially those that have intricate details.

It’s in its handmade nature that it will not be perfect but that’s the beauty of handmade pottery! Though, I do try to get them to be as close to perfect as I can :)
