Custom Ladies Button Front Cape Dress

A simple modest cape dress for those who prefer buttons over back zippers. This cape dress buttons in the front and has a full cape in front and back. The look is very much like a shirt-dress but with a cape. A full skirt is gathered to the bodice without any elastic. If you like the look and fit of a cape dress but would like something a bit different, this is a nice dress to try. I wear this dress when I visit a friend's Mennonite Church. It's as modest as the dresses there but a different from what the ladies of her church wear. You may have elbow length sleeves with cuffs (as pictured), 3/4 length or long sleeves, both finished with elastic.

Sizing for this dress is based on your bust and waist size. In order for this dress to fit properly, please measure carefully and when you check out send me your bust measurement (measure over the same kind of underclothing you would wear with a dress) and waist as measured at the natural waist line. The finished dress will have about 4" of ease at the bustline. If you'd prefer more or less than that, be sure to let me know when you check out. The waist is looser than our other cape dress as it doesn't have elastic. If I have any questions I can then communicate with you to make sure we get the fit you would like. Based on your bust/waist measurements, choose the appropriate size from the chart below. If in between sizes I'd recommend sizing up and be sure to look for a message from me to work out the details. Approximate finished length from top of shoulder to hem is 50". If you would like a longer dress, back ties or side pockets, simply use the listings that can also be found in the last section of the store shown below.

2. Your bust measurement (measure over your bra around the largest part of your chest)
3. Your waist measurement (measure the smallest part of your waist)

The turnaround time for made to order items depends on how many orders I have in line at any given time.
