The month of May is represented by the emerald. This custom made black plated ring has a single emerald set in sterling silver. We can customize this ring with engravings or different gemstones. The ring can also be engraved on the inner and outer part of the ring as shown in the last picture.
The ring will transition into a rustic antique finish and eventually all of the precious sterling silver metal will come through giving the ring charming character.

Our ring size is determined by a ring mandrel.
We use the bottom of the ring to determine the size.

We recommend the following sizing method to ensure a proper fit since this ring is a final sale.
(1) try on various sizes of a 6mm wide ring
(2) select the ring that fits most comfortably and place it on a ring mandrel
(3) take the measurement at the bottom of the ring as illustrated in the 5th listing picture

IMPORTANT REMARKS ABOUT THE OUTER PLATING
This band is a dark grayish black shade rather than jet black. The ring will transition into a rustic antique finish and eventually all of the precious sterling silver metal will come through giving the ring charming character.
We plate the ring in a thick layer but the plated surface longevity will depend on the person's wearing conditions. Frequent or major scratches and exposure to chemicals and excessive moisture will help to accelerate the wear. The black plating will scratch when it comes into contact with metal or sharp objects. Plated jewelry is a layer that coats the outer surface of the precious metal. The black plating may wear off completely within a year or within a week. Results will vary.
