A long time ago, in a far away town in the Colorado mountains, lived Paula and her three children. This store and story opened when Paula decided that a minimum wage job was not going to pay the bills so she started making banners and children's party supplies. Then came the idea of the wood cake stand. She wanted one herself so she had her dad cut one and sold it the first week it was listed. Soon she was recruiting any man that would help her cut wood. Paula saw Tex run a chainsaw and knew he was the one for her (and a lot of other reasons). In the fall of 2011, they were married and their love (and business) began to blossom.
Now, the family of 5 lives in a little house in the woods with a black lab named Buster Bear and a Catahoula/Lab named Honey Bear. The whole family works together to run the business successfully. Tex also manages a rafting company during the summer and Paula works for him there.
