This is my ‘housewarming’ gift to myself after a very difficult move over Christmas, and the way it arrived certainly helped to make it feel like a wonderful gift. Ex textile designer, I've always painted and made things and never been able to throw away anything that has potential. Now I use salvaged china and my own handmade porcelain pieces to make my distinctive mosaic artwork.
Shop policies
I lovingly make all my items by hand, often using china and tiles that I've fallen in love with on one of my buying trips - and that often means trawling the junk and charity shops wherever I am.
It means that each piece is truly individual and has a special meaning, it may be a section of a backstamp with lovely words, a perfect leaf, a piece of venetian gold smalti or a piece of porcelain I've made and fired in my kiln.
I work very hard to produce work that is original and retain all copyright to my designs, please do not copy my work.
