Ivy and Lilly yarns named after both my Nana's, my inspiration and teachers of life, love and yarn

I have been knitting since I was a little girl. In my 20's I was knitting Patricia Roberts Jumpers, and my world of knitting expanded. I was fortunate to be offered a job working for her in her shop tucked away in Knightsbrige, but i had just given birth to my son, and choose to be a stay at home mum. No regrets... well??!? - Some 20 years later, I picked up my needles along with a new found interest in Spinning fibres, making art yarns, weaving and knitting them into projects, I learnt to use a drop spindle and taught workshops in North Yorkshire. I progressed into dying fibres, and then onto hand dyeing yarn. I dye my yarns in small colour way batches and use colours so they can be used together in harmony on one project. Last year I bought a Erlbacher Sock Knitting Machine, and have spent many months (and broken needles) learning how to make socks.
