Supongo que mi viaje comenzó en 1997, mientras estudiaba gestión de marketing en la época en que Internet estaba en auge. Adquirí conocimientos de Adobe y Corell Draw, y más adelante comencé mi propia oficina donde hice diseño gráfico y desarrollo web. Luego vinieron los principios de los años 2000 y la caída.
Larga historia corta; Pasé los siguientes 20 años y pico para recuperarme. Mientras tanto, me compré una cámara profesional y jugueteé con la fotografía como pasatiempo mientras seguía jugando con Photoshop y Lightroom.
Después de eso, siempre consideré que mis fotos eran "dignas" de alguna presentación, así que hice un intento a medias de vender las mejores en 500px.com/owutne.
Llega el 2023 y durante unas muuuuchas vacaciones en Perú, sucumbí al anhelo de volver a cultivar mi lado creativo como ocupación del día a día. Todavía pensando en el valor de mis fotos, y teniendo mucho tiempo libre, me emborraché en Youtube y me topé con videos POD. Había bastantes personas buenas en las que encontré dignos de confianza y me intrigó probar este modelo de negocio por mí mismo. Luego, al regresar de mis vacaciones, casi de inmediato mi Imac colapsó y tuve que esperar un tiempo (también debido a un envío incorrecto) para obtener mi Macbook pro personalizado (lo sé, es más adecuado para trabajar mientras viaja, ¿verdad?). Así que me perdí las ventas de las temporadas más importantes del primer año.
Otoño 23, luego invierno. He estado creando y publicando, sigo aprendiendo y modificando.
Así que finalmente sucedió. Después de casi un año en esta plataforma. Obtuve mi oferta en la semana 10 de 2024 :-) Lo divertido es que el motivo de la sudadera con capucha que compró mi primer cliente era una imagen tomada en Perú mientras planificaba mi tienda en Etsy. Asombroso. ¿Coincidencia o sincronización? De cualquier manera, ahora soy un creador apasionado de prendas y cosas útiles, como lo promociono en el banner.

My journey, I guess, started in 1997 while studying marketing management at the time the internet was booming! I gathered knowledge of Adobe and Corell Draw, and further down I started my own bureau where I did graphic design and web-development. Then came the early 2000´s and the downfall.

Come 2023 and during a looooong vacation in Peru, I succumbed to the yearning for once again cultivate my creative side as a day-to-day occupation. Still thinking of my photos worthiness, and given way to much spare-time I binged on Youtube stumbling upon POD videos. There were quite a few good ones whom I found trustworthy and I was intrigued to try this business model for myself. Then back from my vacation almost immediately my Imac collapsed, and I had to wait some time, (also due to wrong shipment) to get my tailored Macbook pro (I know, better suited to work on the go, right?). So I missed out on my first years most important seasons sales wise.
Fall 23, then winter I´ve been creating and posting, still learning, and tweaking.
So finally it happened. After nearly a year on this platform. I got my sale week 10, 2024 :-) The fun thing is that the motif on the hoodie my first client bought was an image taken in Peru while I was planning for my Etsy storefront. Amazing. Coincidence, or synchronisation? Either way, I am now a passionate creator of apparels and useful stuff - as I promote in the banner.
