- 14 carat gold filled
Gold filled (English for filled gold) refers to a process in which an outer layer of real (= massive) gold is joined to a metal core made of brass, copper (formerly also silver). The gold is rolled up in a special process and permanently bonded to the carrier metal at welding temperature. There is no risk of flaking. The gold layer is about 100 times thicker than with gold plating (galvanic electroplating).

PERSONALISIERUNG !
- Am Verschluß jeder Kette und jeden Armbandes hängt ein kleines, 7mm Plättchen ( Stärke 0,3 mm ). Auf dieses kann ein Buchstabe nach Wahl bestempelt werden.
- Wenn kein Buchstabe hinterlassen wird, wird auf das Plättchen unser TOHO Mandala gestempelt.
- Auf dem Plättchen ist jeweils Platz für einen Großbuchstaben ( keine Umlaute, Zahlen oder andere Symbole. ).
- Der Buchstabe wird nicht graviert, sondern gestempelt. Dadurch wird der Buchstabe tiefer in das Metall eingeprägt und ist besser lesbar als bei einer Gravur.
HINWEIS: Personalisierte Schmuckstücke sind von der Rückgabe und dem Umtausch ausgeschlossen.

Gold filled (Englisch für gefülltes Gold) bezeichnet ein Verfahren, bei dem eine äußere Schicht echtes (= massives) Gold mit einem Metallkern aus Messing, Kupfer (früher auch Silber) verbunden wird. Das Gold wird in einem speziellen Verfahren aufgewalzt und bei Schweißtemperatur dauerhaft mit dem Trägermetall verbunden. Die Gefahr des Abblätterns besteht nicht. Die Goldschicht ist ca. 100-mal dicker als bei einer Vergoldung (galvanische Elektroplattierung).

- A small, 7mm plate (thickness 0.3 mm) hangs on the clasp of every necklace and bracelet. A letter of your choice can be stamped on this.
- If no letter is left, our TOHO mandala will be stamped on the plate.
- There is space for one capital letter on each tile (no umlauts, numbers or other symbols).
- The letter is not engraved but stamped. This means the letter is embossed deeper into the metal and is easier to read than with engraving.
NOTE: Personalized jewelry is not eligible for return or exchange.
