The Brook Sprites are glove puppets measuring between 16-20 inches (40-50 cm) tall, depending on the species.

The story of the Brook Sprites:
The Brook Sprites have been popping up all over the Dabbling Brook lately. Nobody knows exactly where they come from. After they have been located, they are cared for and taught all about humans. Once they are ready, they are made available for adoption. They love to play, they are great listeners, and they are excited to meet their new human caretakers.

Brook Sprites make great play time fun pals, therapeutic partners, puppetry lesson aides, or classroom pets. They love to play as new and different characters, and make communication fun and engaging.

Studies have shown that the use of puppets is an effective strategy to encourage children to express thoughts and feelings, develop self-confidence, and explore language and become
expressive verbally. Puppetry helps to develop cooperative learning skills by working together. There has also been evidence showing that children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, like most youngsters, pay attention to puppets, making puppets a great tool for working with them on developing communication and play skills.
